Hey, friend, those Steve here LR some and welcome back to news brief. Of course this past week

saw the release of multiple wrestlers. I think 22 with regards to

like the restructuring of the company, the conglomerations of the redundant whatever. Yeah, but

there is an additional one that happened. I think on Friday, so we were already

on our weekend, not having any of that. And it was Matt Riddle. So this is what happened.

Matt Riddle announced shortly before Friday's smack then that he'd been released by WWE

tweeting this out. Just wanted to inform everyone that I'm no longer with WWE. Thank you

for the memories and opportunities. Also, thank you to all the fans for the support and love.

thereafter. Fightful select reported that Riddle hadn't been on the road or factored into WWE

creative plans since an incident at JFK airport on September 10th. Fightful added that quote,

one WWE higher up said that he burned through too many chances while in WWE. So if you'll remember

correctly or if you remember back on the 10th, there is a bizarre incident at JFK where he accused

when there was some sort of some sort of incident with him that led like the security of the

airport, which I think is police. Port Authority. Yeah, there you go. Port Authority to show up.

And then they did their investigation. Things seemed to be okay. And then he went and said,

this guy assaulted me sexually. And then the Port Authority, I guess we're going to look into

that and do an investigation. But like after that incident, it was Riddle was not factored into

any WWE stuff. And he was not on raw on that Monday. Correct. Yes. You know, Riddle's time

on the main roster has been there's been issues seemingly there's accusations allegations made

against him. You know, he he he was written off TV for a while to go to rehab reportedly.

And yeah, it seemed like after the incident at JFK, you know, whatever happened there,
