But I've enjoyed my appearances on the Pistons Pulse so much that I wanted to bring on both Amari Sankofa the second and also bring on Bryce as well to talk Detroit Pistons basketball.

totally ridiculous amount of satisfaction from that. So let's begin here.

I think the place to start is just with what took place last year.

And so it started with you, Bryce,

what was it that made these guys so much better than expected a year ago?

And then so let's start with that.

And then we can talk a little bit about what took place in the playoffs and kind of what they need to take the next step.

I mean, I'm not trying to throw shade at anything before last season, but it was just like a foundation of like competitive, competent basketball that made sense with a roster around a really good number one, former number one overall pick that made

sense.

Trajan Langdon comes in.

He gets veterans in the room that play a lot of game.

The one common factor when we go two off seasons ago that we saw with Trasian's additions

where those guys all averaged a lot of games played And in some capacity, those guys provided floor spacing.

And that's what all three of Hardaway Jr., Malik Beasley, Tobias Harris did.

And then obviously, J.B. Bickerstaff comes in and just sets a foundation of competitiveness,

defense, like all of that and how the team went about their business.
