Hey there. I'm so glad you stop by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

Oh God, we just give you praise. Everybody say I give you praise.

Because Father, us giving you praise,

well we don't make you bigger than you are. You're huge. You knew that when you told us and

commanded us to bless you at all times that praises of you would continually be on our mouth,

that our souls would make their boast in the Lord,

and the humble will hear their oven be glad.

You knew, Lord, our souls need to boast in something.

We're either going to boast in ourselves

and we're going to boast in you.

Father, you knew you are the remedy, you tell us to praise you so it will give us back a spirit of joy

and say it's just being overwhelmed by our troubles. I wonder who's overwhelmed by his or

her troubles this morning, just burdened. And Lord to get things back in

perspective, just say to him, help me get it back in perspective.

Say that out loud.

But we just need to get some things back in perspective.

We've let some things get all exalted up.

You know what I'm talking about?

In our imaginations, all exalted up and lifted up instead

of seeing that you are God over all things. Come and take authority. What we need is not just what you say and what you do,

although we need that desperately. It's who you are. Our confession of faith this

morning and we'll echo this through the lesson and end with it
