Welcome back to another edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm along with Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers for the athletic.

And Jordan is at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval where he has just witnessed another

one of those wacky team chaos finishes so you must be happy Jordan with the ending there I'm

assuming I mean it's so funny we this race was very dull until the last 15 laps or so, very dull.

One of the more dull playoff races in recent memory.

And then Ligano Pits, and then from there, it's tense.

And everything is on the line.

And the last 10, 15 laps or whatever that was, that is about as good as it gets for the

playoffs in terms of this situation.

And this is, I can't believe it.

This is why if you don't like the playoffs, you don't have a great day today this is a dull

forgettable race but the playoff drama and everything on the line heightened that and it elevated

it to a higher level than it would have been otherwise and i i am i'm glad that we had the

playoff format today because otherwise this would have been a very forgettable race where the winner and everything else that transpired would have been an afterthought.

But instead, we've got playoff driver, you know, playoff drama.

And I just want to say this too.

You let Joey Lugano onto the next round.
