| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the conversations that matter podcast. My name is John Harris. We're |
| 0:17.1 | going to talk today a little bit about Desmond Tutu Archbishop from South Africa |
| 0:21.6 | Anglican known for his contributions to theology as far |
| 0:27.9 | as black theology and African theology, but also and more importantly, perhaps as far as from a global media standpoint, |
| 0:37.4 | his activity, anti-apartheid activity and his activity on we going to talk about him? |
| 0:43.0 | His activity on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa. |
| 0:48.0 | And so why are we going to talk about him? |

| 1:39.1 | His status he has reached there is probably much more enshrined than it is here as far as |
| 1:46.7 | respect and all of that and saint-like status but I think it's probably coming here. It has come here to some extent you do hear his name a little bit |
| 1:57.6 | But the second reason is because his name is brought up frequently on a certain website I shouldn't say frequently |
| 2:05.1 | regularly often enough and that's the Gospel Coalition website and |
| 2:09.1 | Desmond Tutu died not too long ago and some brothers brought to my attention the fact |
