| 0:39.6 | citizen gets that right. Right now, millions of Americans aren't allowed to vote because they |

| 0:51.6 | number of Americans go through the criminal justice system, it affects a lot of people. |
| 0:56.9 | Different states have different rules about it, and of all the states, Florida's might be the harshest. |
| 1:03.0 | 1.6 million Floridians are deprived of their right to vote. |
| 1:08.4 | One of those people is Desmond Mead, one of the leading voices behind a ballot measure this year |
| 1:13.3 | that will allow Floridians to weigh in on felony disenfranchisement. |
