All right, welcome on to a Monday morning edition of Dunkdown Prime and apologies that we did not get to this yesterday.

Usually a trade this big, we would have recorded immediately.

However, I was on a bachelor party and about to get on a plane to fly back.

I had a 12-hour travel day yesterday that basically was going to start right about the time of the

trade so just didn't happen for us uh we apologize for that tried to schedule that when we hope

there wouldn't be anything crazy and uh generally our policy though is to get you something sooner

i apologize that we weren't able to do that in this case so we got a trade to announce all right

out of nowhere completely Out of nowhere.

Completely out of nowhere. I mean, I think we'll talk about this a bit, but like,

I thought there might be something early because we gotten some reporting about the,

the nexus point now being the trade, being the draft rather than being June 30th.

But I didn't think this was coming. And so the terms of the deal, I'll do the basic terms. We'll talk about the nitty gritty in a second. Desmond Bain is going to

the Orlando Magic for Contavius Caldwell Pope, Cole Anthony, four first round picks, and one first

round swap. Yeah, let's get into exactly what those those picks are. And then I want to look at it

from the Orlando standpoint.

And I think where I actually want to start is where this puts Orlando on the floor,

but we should get out there exactly what those picks are because this, at least on paper right

now, has better near-term pick value than say the McHale Bridges deal last year to which this has been

rightly, I think, compared to off. I agree with that. And so, yeah, the actual picks that are going,

I'll start with the easy ones and they'll do the hard one last. So the 16th pick this year,

Orlando's 28 unprotected, Orlando's 2030 unprotected. And then in the middle year it's a swap so memphis gets the better of the grizzlies

pick and the magic pick unless the magic pick is top two otherwise they get the better of the two

...
