Well, it is Friday. And tomorrow our family, all 34 of us, we're going to head to a beach in North Carolina and pile

in the same house for a week. We got 19 kids and 15 adults, and it is a chaotic blast. It really

is so much fun. We make a ton of memories. I'll still be with you next week because of the magic

of pre-recording this, but we're going to go have a blast,

and the reason is going to be so much fun is that we will be together. We've been walking

through a book of the Bible called Ecclesiastes where the author King Solomon basically says,

let me give you from my own experience five easy ways to wreck your life. First way, let pleasure

drive you. While you're at way, let pleasure drive you.

While you're at it, let success consume you.

And then he introduced this one yesterday.

And if you really want to screw it all up,

just isolate yourself.

When we live in isolation,

we are much more likely to fall to temptation or discouragement.

We're more likely to become self-absorbed or more likely to spend our money in stupid ways.

Plus, not only do we suffer when we live in isolation,

but other people get cheated out of the love that God intended to give them through us.
