To think that I can accomplish everything that I've accomplished in my career and not

be a student of the game and not have that passion and not take this serious is almost

disrespectful and it's almost a joke. To me I'm flattered. I'm honestly flattered that

y'all think that at my size I can go out there and not prepare for the game and not take

a serious. It's disrespectful, I feel like, to my peers, to all the great athletes and great

players that are in this league. This game is too hard to play the position that I play

and this league, it's too hard. That was a little piece of the surprise press conference involving

Cardinals quarterback Kyle Murray on Thursday by Thursday night we learned that the Cardinals wisely

ripped up the four-hour independent study addendum on the Kyle Murray contract but the damage

is already done. They've painted him with a brush that no one had painted him with before.

The idea that he doesn't work hard enough he didn't have that reputation nobody had wondered

whether or not he spends enough time studying film or understanding the opposing defense or

doing the things that other quarterbacks do. That wasn't a thing. That wasn't a talking point

and now Chris, how can it not be for some, especially if he has another year that sees

as the season goes on, his performances become less and less stellar. Yeah, well, yeah, it's

going to be a talking point. There's no doubt. Like you're saying here, the Arizona Cardinals

got no one to blame but themselves. I mean, no one. It's crazy that they thought it's almost a

little bit like the drafting of Jordan Love or the we're going to go see Dishon Watson,

Baker, Mayfield. You won't get mad, right? It's like the same type of thing to where like

you didn't think this was going to get out. You didn't realize that this was going to be

coming to issue. I think that's where it's like from the just the team perspective, you just go,
