y'all for joining me. Today's show is special man. I got to Sean Watson, the

quarterback, pro-bo-bo-starting quarterback from the Houston Texans. I have my good friend

Alan Kavana. He's a reporter from Fox Sports joining us to talk about NASCAR and the ends and outs and everything that's

going on in the world of racing. I'm just really really happy to be here but you

know it's weird though you know you it's you start a new platform you get a new job

and then you read about your boss and everybody else in the New York Times.

And so I figured I would start simply by saying I'm very, very grateful to Bill Simmons for having me on this platform and I know I've read all the articles

and I see everything people are saying on social media and let me just say that Bill and I've

had some great conversations and as we navigate these very very difficult

challenging times and conversations about race all I ask for people is

to be honest all I ask for people to be is is forthright and then we have to have some level of accountability.

And so me and Bill have talked many times and we acknowledge what the Ringer has to do better.

He's made promises what the ringer would do better.

And I'm here to make sure that we're going to do everything we can to hold people

accountable so that we move forward and I'm happy to be here because I know Bill wants to do better.

I'm happy to be here because I know Bill is going to give me this opportunity to lift

up my voice and lift up our voices and speak truth to power.

So I wanted to get that off my chest first.
