Well, it's time to have another deserted island moment here on five minutes in church history

and I have with us Dr. Conrad and Bayway Dr. and Bayway, it's nice to see you again.

We were with you a few weeks back and we have you here again and we are giving you a true gift, brother.

We are going to relieve you of all of your hard work there at African Christian University

and we're going to let you just go off to a deserted island to spend some time enjoying some books.

And there's a catch though. You can only take five with you. You have a Bible, so you'll have a Bible.

But what five books would you take with you on your trip to your deserted island?

Let's get that rolling. I think first of all, I would want a devotional that is a classic

and almost certain you can guess that I'll be speaking about Puglin's progress.

That's a good one and I would want one that is an edition that allows me to see where

from the Bible the ideas we're coming from so that I'm able to then go to the Bible and read

further. So I would definitely throw in John Bunions' Puglin's progress.

The next that I would go to would be a systematic theology and I would want to go right back to

the one that meant a lot to me in my formative years and that was Louis Beckov's systematic

theology. Very simple laid out pretty well and yeah, I would definitely want to for all times say.

That was my in college. That was my go-to book for quotes and papers. So I love it.

You gave me some nostalgia. All right, so we've got two, we've got three more.

We sort of banked that. I also want to throw in a biography and I think I would go for

the Anodali Mos, I think the summarized biography of Whitfield rather than the two volumes.

To the heavy volume tone. Yes, I always remember that I struggled through the second volume because

it was like it was always the same thing was doing every day. How many thousands did he preach
