Hello, Sunshine and welcome into ILD speaking part two.

Describe a person who makes plans a lot and is good at planning.

0:14.9

You should say who here she is, how you know them, what plans he or she makes, and explain how you feel about this person.

0:25.1

Rory, give us your story.

0:32.0

Well, I come from a family of planners, but the one that stands out the most in my mind right now is actually my dad.

0:40.7

In terms of who he is, aside from the fact he's one of my parents, he's also done a lot to help people over the years in the local area and at work.

0:49.3

So that sort of effort takes a lot of organization and planning, and he needs to be, well, pretty on the ball, so he doesn't let people down.

0:59.3

I think that's just the kind of person he is, someone that likes helping others.

helping people who live in the local area or live nearby. But they also relate to the house

1:42.8

chores, like taking the rubbish out on time,

1:45.8

and taking family members to and from various appointments. Ooh, not only that, but they also

1:53.0

include things like being organized in advance for birthdays and other celebrations. When it

1:58.4

comes to how I feel about him, I'm pretty impressed with all the effort he

2:02.0

goes to to make people's lives easier and I've tried my best to emulate that with my own

2:07.0

organizational efforts. I don't think I'm quite as flexible with my timing as he is, but it's good

2:13.2

to have something to aspire to, isn't it? If I didn't have him as my dad, I think I'd have

2:19.1

missed out on the chance to develop some pretty good habits for life. And I'm very grateful
