I'm Kirk Cameron and I'm a dog. What was the name of that? What was the name of that movie? You lucky dog. You lucky dog. Lisa once again on it. Everybody was lucky except the people that had to watch the movie, though.

They were not as lucky.

But anyway, welcome back to Magical Rewind, the show that makes you want to grab your friends, your PJs, and your popcorn, and go back to a time. And all the houses are smart, the wave tsunamis. And now we're doing a whole bunch of sequels. I'm Wilfredel. And I'm Sabrina Brian. It is a big week here on Magical Rewind or Mur, as I'm going to start calling it, as we return to sequel town for the second installment of a massive and expensive franchise for modern day Disney Channel. It's time for a film we've been looking forward to for a very long time. It is 2017's musical fantasy, deck secendidant two.

Two years after the original worldwide phenomenon first aired, everything was perfectly lined up for this sequel, announced that that year's D23 Expo.

Have you ever been to D23?

No, I don't think so. You've never done the D23 Expo and you're as big a Disney fan as you are. We've got to get you to D23. Okay, I'm down. It sounds like a perfect place for me. It really is. It sounds like it should be called D23 Sabrina Expo is really what it should be. the movie then aired in the summer of 2017, July 21st to be exact, and it was such a big deal for the Disney company that for the first time ever, the premiere was simulcast across all of their networks.
