Summary

Join Jim and Greg for a very full Friday edition. First, they react to the passing of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra O'Connor, who was President Reagan's first nominee to the high court.

Then they dissect the Red State vs. Blue State debate between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Fox News - including some of the best zingers from DeSantis.

They also cover the breaking news of the U.S. House of Representatives expelling New York Rep. George Santos after dozens of indictments and a scathing ethics report over alleged rampant corruption.

Finally, they blast Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President Biden for already growing impatient with how long Israel's operation against Hamas is taking in Gaza.

93. She was the first Supreme Court justice

nominated by President Reagan. He had promised to nominate a woman if elected in 1980.

0:59.6

Some might say that was a precedent for other people, specifically planning to nominate different people to different jobs, and Joe Biden has certainly done that.

1:15.0

regularly when he came in we're probably a little bit disappointed on some issues abortion

by previous Republicans like Nixon and Ford

who gave us Harry Blackman, Lewis Powell,

and John Paul Stevens, O'Connor, looks pretty good.

So in the end, she was more conservative while Reagan was president

and then got a little wobblier as time went on,
