podcast network. My usual co-host Matt Williamson on vacation this week, we've had a ton of

0:27.1

really great guest hosts from around the network. And Thursday, no different. The host of

0:33.5

on Bengals, James Rapine, is my guest host today.

0:37.8

So excited to get into some Cincinnati Bengals conversation, of course.

0:42.2

But it's also the franchise tag deadline for players to sign long-term contracts.

1:24.3

and I have had a good time talking to everybody. And today's a big one because that franchise tag deadline came and went Wednesday.

1:33.4

And the big one, and we've talked about it a lot here on the show, was Dak Prescott did not

1:38.7

sign a new contract. A number of franchise tagged players didn't sign new deals.

1:43.4

1:45.8

but I want to get back here to Dak Prescott and start there. What are your thoughts on

1:50.4

1:55.1

2:02.4

anymore. And apparently leading up for a few weeks, there was no conversation in the day of right

2:06.7

before they send some texts. And I don't know what that's going to do to try to get a deal done.
