Tonight, on closing arguments, conservative activist kirk was speaking in front of thousands of

students at utah valley university when a single shot rang out striking kirk in the neck police

launched a manhunt for the shooter that lasted 33 hours before 22 year old tyold Tyler Robinson turned himself into authorities.

Robinson remains in custody, and today he was back inside a Utah courtroom as the attorneys

hash out the details of his highly anticipated trial. In Washington State, a local fire chief

on trial for the murder of his wife. Prosecutors say Kevin and Marcy West's marriage was on the rocks and that Kevin was having

an affair before he strangled her.

But Kevin claims their marriage was solid and Marcy died after having a seizure.

What will the jury believe?

But first, Derek Rosa was just 13 years old when he

snuck into his mother's room in the middle of the night and stabbed her to death as she

slept. And today, 15-year-old, Derek, was just days away from the start of his trial when he

changed his plea. We have the very latest from today's hearing.
