Broadcaster Derek Ray joins me for a fun discussion on his long history and present with

Germany and the Bundesliga, which is still the only major soccer league staging games. It would be absolutely huge for this

It's not like I have a place to write right now, and this week's goes like this.

The world is divided over fake crowd noise on your television

broadcasts this week I put up a Twitter survey asking if listeners preferred

having no artificial sounds or fake crowd noise on their

Bundesliga broadcasts as Fox has been choosing to include by a Bundesliga sound

engineer. Nearly 5,000 people have voted and it's almost evenly split with 51.8% choosing to have the simulated sounds.

Here's my take. I wish we had a choice as viewers do in Germany. I actually don't mind the simulated sound in an extreme situation, but I thought the volume was too high for the Dortmund-Beyer game on Tuesday.

Typically as a journalist, I would have issues with simulated anything.
