Wake Forest is 21st in the country. I know they're also unbeaten through their first three games as well. Derek Rackley is going to be calling that game this weekend for Westwood one.

And I want to start with that specific match up Derek number five Clemson number 21 Wake Forest.

Now Clemson obviously heads to Wake Forest. There are seven and a half point favorite in this game. But you know what I look at this Clemson team.

There were obviously higher expectations coming into this year. They still won 10 games last season, but by Clemson standards last year was considered a down year for the program.

Looking at the team last year and looking at what you've seen through the first three games so far for the Tigers.

What's the difference with this Clemson team if there's anything in your eyes from last year to this year?

Yeah, there's a couple of things so there was a lot of injuries last year and I know that you know people don't really want to hear excuses for stuff like that, but there was I mean I want to say that they had somewhere in a neighborhood of 40 different players that missed time throughout the course of the season last year due to various injuries and you know quite frankly when you don't have your stars on the field that's going to affect the performance.

I also think that you had to turn things over to a new quarterback essentially and DJ Ouyangela and tough shoes to fill. I mean I've been doing some prep work for the game and I kind of went back to think about what life was like before DJ became the starting quarterback and just think about it.

I mean I've definitely had three years at the Shawn Watson that that took Clemson to crazy heights and then they had one full season with Kelly Bryant as the starter and even though he ended up losing his job that next year Kelly Bryant still brought Clemson to a college football playoff and they ended up losing in the playoff right and then you had three years of Trevor Lawrence that continued that superb quarterback play right.

This is the first time that we're starting to see a little bit of a dip in the quarterback play of what we got used to seeing from Clemson couple that with the fact that they haven't had the same type of explosive wide receivers at least to start this season that they've had in years past and I think that's just taken away from some of the explosiveness that we got used to seeing again not to say like you just talked about their record was pretty solid last year, but it's the expectation that we got used to a devil sweetie coach teams in the clubs and tigers are constantly going to be a

college football playoff didn't see that last year, so everybody's wondering what's going on, what's the difference and I still think they're trying to get their legs underneath themselves even this year as far as being that same type of explosive offense that they've been call it the past seven or eight years and Derek the next two weeks might be the toughest weeks on the Clemson schedule when you consider obviously wake and then NC state. Right number 11 in the nation right now DJ Uangala was a big offseason topic. In fact, there were many

around the ACC speculating whether he would finish the year as to start in quarterback for Clemson from what you've seen early on do you expect barring injury him to be the quarterback by the time we get to the end of the season.

Yeah, it's it's really tough to answer that because I'll tell you devil sweetie has come out like and reason why say that I'm not inside the program, right, but devil sweetie will tell you that this is DJ's job and granted those things can change, you know, like if you have a stinker of a game or two obviously go back to Kelly Bryant, right.
