Well, yes, I think that to the ordinary person identifying your lady as my lady would sound possessive.

But maybe that's a cultural norm that I'm not accustomed to.

No, I promise. I do. But I came here to have a productive conversation. And usually when I

encounter someone in my field, they're also working to have a productive conversation. But the way that you throw in the little tidbits that are demeaning, the way you have very

circular argument, you throw stats, that's what makes me a little apprehensive to continue speaking

with you.
