Okay, so last week when we spoke on Monday, I was in a place called South Tomay.

I'm currently in a place called Princeipé. So you know how like it's Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad's the big island. Tobago is the smaller one. That's kind of what this functions as.

So South Tomay is the big one. Princeipé is the small one. This island has all of 10,000 people

on it. It doesn't have a lot of hotels. The few that it does have, they're all former plantations.

I didn't tell you this in a previous episode because I didn't know. When I recorded on Monday night,

I had just arrived in South Tomay. All I did was get to my hotel and then I went to dinner

in the hotel so I didn't get a chance to like go out and sightseeing any of that when we last spoke.

So I spent two and a half days sightseeing six, five, and eight hours the third day.

So I packed in as much as I possibly could during the short time that I had there.

South Tomay is, it's a beautiful island. It's very pretty physically to look at. It is a historian's

dream and I say that acknowledging that it's for all of the wrong reasons. South Tomay was colonized

until 1975. They just got their freedom 47 years ago and I specifically say freedom because
