What is up, it's the rant. My name is Jeff Racklebinus. Monday, June 21st, we roll on with

0:23.9

our team preview series today. Of course, we're talking about Denver Broncos, a very interesting

0:29.4

team indeed with a big question mark at quarterback who's going to be under center. If you have two quarterbacks,

0:34.7

you don't have a quarterback. So we'll talk about that in all this exciting young talent in just a

0:40.0

minute, but just a reminder, we do have this contest going on. If you want a free rant t-shirt,

0:46.1

I like free. I'm cheap. I like free. If you want a free rant t-shirt, all you have to do to be

0:52.0

entered into win one, potentially, is review the show on iTunes and rate it. And in your review,

0:59.6

just leave your Twitter handle. I've seen a couple folks already getting these in. So greatly

1:04.8

appreciate that. We'll wrap this up in July. So you still got a little bit of time, but hey,

1:10.2

earlier the better, it helps me out and it could ultimately help you out getting one of these

1:14.4

t-shirts. And if you don't want to wait, just head on over to sawdustpods.com and you can go check

1:21.6

out the merch store over there. There's a bunch of cool t-shirts, including stuff from some of the

1:26.5

other shows that we do as well. But anyway, let's dive into the Denver Broncos. And as I mentioned,

1:33.6

you have two quarterbacks here. You have Drew Locke, who so far in his short NFL career really hasn't

1:41.0

taken a step forward. And I don't know if the team is willing to wait for him to take a step

1:46.4

forward because of, of course, they already traded for Teddy Bridgewater. I think we know we get

1:51.6

with Teddy Bridgewater. We get relatively high floor, but about as low a ceiling as you could

1:57.4

possibly get with a starting level quarterback in the NFL. So you really cap your upside there.

2:03.7

But he is true to his name, a bridge type quarterback. Now, is that a bridge to next year?

2:09.9

When you put yourself maybe in play to draft a quarterback, is it a bridge to a trade? And

2:15.8

no, I am not talking about Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is either going to play for the packers,

2:22.6

or he's not going to play. Those are the options. The packers are not trading him.
