Summary

The Denver Broncos keep winning games, but don't get the respect their record deserves. Regardless, when compared to the other top team in the AFC, the New England Patriots, the Broncos should be viewed as more of a real contender. Likewise, the Jacksonville Jaguars are more dangerous than the Chicago Bears as a threat due to Trevor Lawrence's level of play as of late. The Houston Texans defense is so tremendous that it makes them more of a contender for the big game than a team like the San Francisco 49ers, even if the 49ers have more winning experience. Josh Allen is hitting his stride and that makes the Buffalo Bills a scary team for the AFC to see and even though the Philadelphia Eagles are the defending champs, the Bills should get more faith. We will get a NFC South showdown this week with the Carolina Panthers hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and even if Carolina is in control, the Bucs inspire more hope than them. Finally, the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens sit outside the playoff picture, but the Lions are more likely to get back in and make a run than a Ravens team that can't seem to find their footing.
