Before I continue with this episode, I wish to make a correction.

In part 4 of this series, I said that homosexuality was highly illegal in the UK in 1973.

This is factually wrong.

I made the error because Dennis Nielsen was Scottish, and Scotland didn't remove its ban on homosexual acts until 1980.

But in the UK as a whole, homosexual activity in private between two consenting men was made legal in 1967.

I apologize for this mistake.
