It's so fun. It's really fun to say, yes. Well, you know, as it happens, Shalom means peace.

That's what the word means. Yes. Which is its own etymology, which is you and I love etymology.

Interestingly, just for those, anyone should be interested in this. Shalom comes from the Hebrew word

or is related directly to the Hebrew word Shalane. It sounds very similar.

It's the same consonants. Hebrew words work by consonant, not by vowel.

Valser added on as dots and little lines. Anyway, Shalane means complete.

So it's fascinating. Peace and completeness are sort of related.

And what else did I want to say about that? Oh, yes. So Shalom means peace.

It also is hello and goodbye. I know. That's why I say at the beginning

and I say it at the end, you know, I love saying it to random people like the guy

who's checking me out at the grocery store. Of course, just to see their reaction.
