Hey, let's talk about these games from New Year's Night. You wrote an article on CBS Sports

about Michigan's bullyball. I thought that the, I watched the Bama game start to finish. I could not stay up and watch the Sugar Bowl.

I mean, the fact that it started at 9 o'clock is beyond me.

I got to get up at 4 in the morning. I couldn't do it. But I watched the highlights. We'll talk about that in a second. But the Bama Michigan game, the Rose Bowl, and man, what a great setting for a huge playoff game but I thought the first half was

kind of boring a lot of mistakes I thought both teams would look sharper

especially bama they didn't now Michigan's front four really cause problems obviously with Millrow

getting sacked five times in the first half but and Bama started to put it

together obviously in the second half but man until the fourth quarter I just wasn't that impressed from

either team and then what an epic a possible epic collapse that could have been

for Michigan if Jake Thaw fumbles that punt late when it's

20. Just kind of give me your thoughts on the game in general and how Michigan did win this game.

Well it was an epic collapse by Alabama.

As bad as they played offensively in the first half,

they kind of figured things out, slogged their way through.

And we're up 20 to 13 and head Michigan fourth and two in its own 33
