All right, welcome back to Crime Lines. I want to thank Suzanne St. John for help

with the research on tonight's case. This story is one with a very layered timeline.

We have the timeline of Denise Amber Lee's kidnapping from the point of view of her husband,

her father, the documented 911 calls, and the police. But this is a solved case. So we also have

the timeline of what was happening in the life of the man who took her, and also the witnesses who

saw them along the way. And as most of you know, the name Crime Lines comes from timeline. I like to

put things in a timeline and walk through these cases so we all can follow them. We can understand

what happened and when it happened. So what I did was I took the various timelines of what people

said they saw and heard and when. And I laid them next to each other, and we're going to walk

through the whole story in a comprehensive manner. The timeline I have formed has been largely

based on a 2008 date line episode about the abduction and then the court records about evidence
