All right. Well, speaking of summers of discontent, the Denver Nuggets, Josh Kronki, has said,

everything's on the table right now, outside of trading Nicola. But also, he said, I think we need to have running it back as a possibility.

And I'll go back to what Adam Maras and the DNVR guys were saying, who know this team as well as anyone, right afterwards.

He basically was saying, well, we need more ball handlers,

we need more point of attack defense, and we need more shooting.

Well, I agree with all those things,

and they need more and more overall athleticism.

That was the other thing they said.

I agree with all those things.

I'm just not sure how exactly you can go and get that with a realistic trade.

Because I think more so even than the finances, which we'll talk about in a second,

just their lack of any assets to throw out there is the bigger issue.

So what do they have in terms of that?

It is not a particularly rosy picture for the nuggets. The only extra pick they have pick,

meaning that somebody else could, somebody from somebody else is they have Atlanta's second

round pick this year. That's it. That's all the extras they have. But then the Denver owes

they owe a first round pick to the Thunder and actually

owe two separate first round picks to the Thunder. And so there's some sliding years on that.

And then outside of that obligation, they have, their 2032, that went to Brooklyn and the

Michael Porter Jr. Cam Johnson train. And so that means it's very, they can, it's very limited in terms of what they could do in terms of assets. And then the other part of the asset equation that's so devastating for the Denver Nuggets is, oh, well, they could move some of their good young players or guys that are on favorable contracts. There aren't many of those for them. Yokic is Yokic. He's the centerpiece, the Tedpole. Aaron Gordon's on a negative value contract. Christian Brown's on negative value contract. Welcome on. Zeke Daughey's on negative value contract. And so that means the only guys you have left that are making more than $5 billion on the team are Cam Johnson, who just traded for, he makes 23, and we'll

see people think of him, and Jabal Baru. So that's it. And so they don't have picks, they don't

have young guys of import. And so it's, unless the team really loves Julian Strother or Durant Holmes.
