Wow, what an invigorating night of NBA basketball it was.

I wasn't planning on doing a live show.

I actually turned on two of them because I was just so inspired from the first halves by the Sixers and then the wolves.

Both of those teams ended up winning.

But we have to start it with what took place in Minnesota.

And there will be much time for angst about the Denver Nuggets

and their future and their failings in the series, all of which were myriad. But let's just begin

with an appreciation of this Minnesota Timberwolves team, Danny. It was an incredible effort

with the Minnesota Timberwolves being even more short-handed than they had been previously because, yes, Anthony Edwards and Dante Vincenzo were still out with the injuries that had previously occurred.

But on top of that, Ayur Dissoumoo didn't play in-game six.

And Kyle Anderson was a surprising late scratch as well.

So it was an eight-man rotation for Chris Finch and the Timberwolves.

They started Mike Conley, Terrence Shannon Jr., Jaden McDaniels, Julius Radle, Rudy Gobert,

and then the only three bench players were Nas Reid, Bones Highland, and Jalen Clark.

And not only that, Bones Highland was questionable with the knee issue.

He didn't play particularly well.

He looked pretty limited.

He only ended up playing eight minutes.

Nasreed was just dealing with that shoulder, the entire game.

He was just struggling through everything.

And yet, the wolves with three guys who wouldn't have been projected to be in their

playoff rotation, Conley a little bit maybe in spot duty.
