Well, people are living longer these days, you know?

That's right.

It's my goal. All right. Well, let's get to work here. And I think where I want to start is just what took place in that whirlwind season a year ago. I mean, there was the dual firing at the end of the year. You cautioned to me, as you're always so prescient on these, that's why we have you on. That is, you know, there was maybe a little bit of angst. It wasn't necessarily the

same feeling there had been with this group as in past years. You went for the under when

you normally are the one going over and I'm going under with these guys. You definitely

proved to be right on that.

So you have the dual firings at the end. David Alman comes in. They have that epic win over the clippers,

take OKC to seven and lose. But as you, as it relates to this year, if you have to go back and say,

yeah, they had the best player in the world. They still weren't able to get by a great OKC team, they were able to get by a pretty good Clippers team. What were your basketball takeaways from last year's playoffs? Well, from the playoffs, it was that the Nuggets are still really good and dangerous, even when they do everything wrong, which is kind of what last year was. I thought

they, it really is a two year arc for the Nuggets since the championship. How do you follow that up?

What did you learn about yourself? What do you believe about yourself to kind of try to keep it going?

And I thought it was a two year arc of them making, I don't even want to say wrong decisions,

but pulling in opposite directions. And last year culminated, obviously, firing your GM and coach. It was the latest anybody, I believe, the latest any coach had ever been fired for a playoff team, three games to go. And you think about, uh, Josh Kronk, you saw what happened in Memphis and did it, did it, did a little old my beer my beer it was funny if you were it's funny

to remember that because yes is that happened the whole NBA world was like how could you fire a coach

so late and it was like three weeks later that the nuggets fired there so um if you if you look at that
