I was thinking this morning about the privilege of what I do in contrast to what's going on in other parts of the world, specifically right now, Ukraine,

and how these people have been thrust into survival mode under the most horrific attack, unprovoked, a violent bully, trying to take their home from them and their lives as the rest of the world watches and at the same time goes on because we have to go on and because those of us who live

in the West in free countries we are enjoying the freedoms that people who don't have these

freedoms are willing to die to provide for their families

or to win for themselves.

And I just feel like we take it for granted.

I hope we're all pitching in in some way to help these people.

But at the same time, I just want to say it's a great call to

check ourselves and how much squabbling we do among ourselves over inconsequential,

silly, silly, silly things, over a slight difference of opinion.

And that is our privilege.

We are privileged to do that.

And yet should we do that?

Maybe.

I love a good debate.

I love to challenge ideas.

But I like to do it with a playful spirit,

with people who also can go there with a playful spirit in the spirit of exploration and discovery.

And I'm just really feeling appreciative for this space for you all, for letting me do what I do.

This podcast would be nothing without people that

tune in and listen. And I'm grateful for the freedom to speak my mind, to change my mind,

to challenge my mind, my beliefs, my spiritual beliefs, whatever sense of patriotism I have, I don't have to be a patriot.
