The poll indicates Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is +5 in Arizona, +4 in Georgia, and +3 in North Carolina—and appears to be polling stronger post-debate than he was before it. Notably, NYT/Siena also asked likely voters if they thought Trump’s policies helped or hurt them—45% said helped while 34% said hurt. Contrarily, more voters thought Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s proposed policies would hurt them.
