on impeachment moving its way through the House. Senator, let's go back to the very beginning,

and it was a wild day on Capitol Hill. You've got Zelensky who comes to town. He's asking

for money. The thread that we've seen of kind of headlines here from the

Democrats is, you must stand with them no matter what forever in Pertuity, amen. And you can't ask

questions about where the money's going or transparency. We've just got to write them this blank

check. And how dare you Republicans tie this to border security?

Give me your initial reaction to that. Well, Zelensky's coming to Washington yesterday was designed.

It's a manifestation of the Democrats not living in reality. Chuck Schumer does not believe that Republicans are serious

about securing the border. He's in absolute denial. And I got to say the supplemental bill

on Ukraine, the border in Israel, the entire thing is in a stalemate. And I think it is very possible

this thing will not pass for a long time.

Because Schumer and the Democrats, they're living in an alternate reality. And they're just assuming Republicans will cave.

Now, sadly, that is a reasonable assumption in a lot of instances. Senate Republicans in particular are pretty

quick to cave. I don't think that's going to happen in this instance. And Schumer and the Democrats

don't believe it. And so Zelensky came this week to Washington because they're trying to

bludgeon Republicans into saying Ukraine really, really, really needs the money.

Rather than, look, there have been a lot of Republicans, House Republicans have made very clear

there will be no Ukraine bill without serious, strong border security.
