All right, everybody, let's get into it. We are starting off this morning with a look at how a lot of Washington is heading to Texas this week to pay their respects

to the late Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, the Democrat from Texas.

President Joe Biden will head to Texas today with stops in Austin and Houston,

where he will pay his respects to the late Representative Sheila Jackson Lee.

Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Atlanta on

Tuesday and then in Houston on Thursday for Jackson Lee's funeral. Jackson Lee is a pretty

unforgettable figure. She passed away on July 19th, the 74-year-old recently disclosed she was being

treated for pancreatic cancer.

She was an unforgettable figure on Capitol Hill, serving in Congress for 29 years.

She served on the judiciary, budget, and Homeland Security committees.

Jackson Lee ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Houston last year, yet she was still able to win the 18th District's Democratic primary in March and was
