And we've got a great Potter coming on the show that I want to talk about here in just a moment.

But first, I wanted to let you know we've got another Potter's class coming up.

It's being done with John Schmidt, who is, if you know him on YouTube, you would know him

as John the Potter.

And John Schmidt just wrote a book, which if you have, if you, if you listen to last week's

episode, you would have heard John's episode on last Tuesday

where he talked about the process of writing the book and so on and so forth. It's called

Practical Pottery. It's a great book. But also, the thing about John is that is absolutely

amazing is that when he does his ceramics, he uses all commercial glazes.

But when he does those commercial glazes, they look like they are his glazes.

They are his own special set of glazes, even though anybody can get a hold of them.

And I love that approach to using commercial glazes where they've been so specialized

in the way that he applies them and makes them his own that it's hard to tell the difference.

The guy is amazing with that.

And what we're going to talk about or what he's going to teach us in this class is he's going to

teach us about how how to make commercial glazes your own. And I love that idea. So that's
