Just a few miles off the Thailand coast, the island of Kothau looks like a postcard.

I'd underneath the surface lies something sinister.

In the last 20 years dozens of tourists have died mysteriously on the island.

A dark cloud who's come over the island, death, mystery and danger.

Richard, let's get into this case of Julia, the high priestess and see how you handle this thing.

Again, I want to emphasize that Julia as all these cases are not patients of mine.

They're just people that I've consulted on mostly for clergy and it's a pseudonym.

So anyway, she was described not only to me with independent evidence that she was a member of a rare satanic cult, which is rare in my opinion.

But she was also described by the two exorcists. She worked with two exorcists who at the time were very prominent and among a few really official exorcists in the United States.

They became friends of mine. They took me to a lot of different cases. That's part of the reason I had so much experience at that point.

And they described Julia, these very experienced guys as the most dramatic possession they had ever seen in their own lives.

So somewhat annoyingly to me, I was introduced to her the morning after something strange happened in my house.

I was in my bedroom with my wife and we had two cats who would lie on the bed at night and they were fairly well behaved and classic cats.

And they just went berserk and they started clueling and scratching each other. I thought it was like a fight to the death.

And we had to separate them and we kind of looked at each other, you know, what got into them.

So the next morning unannounced, I get a ring on the doorbell of my house.

This priest who I had worked on a couple of less serious cases came to my door with Julia.

I couldn't believe that he would bring this woman to my house, but he told me later, as he apologized, he said, well, I really wanted to keep things moving because, you know, she has some ambivalence.

I wanted to introduce you to her as soon as possible. Subsequently, I had many conversations with Julia, although again, I didn't treat her.
