You're looking for a number three running back with a ton of juice.

I think Claiborne can be your guy.

437 40-yard dash time.

And if you look into it, it's actually the 20 yards split, the last 20 yards of the 40, where he really, really takes off. I think as a rusher, you can feel those moments for him. I think he's a little bit jumpy to me. He doesn't catch the ball very well. So I think that if you're looking for somebody in the Keaton Mitchell role, this is your best bet. Yeah, there's a lot of stuff to dive into here because he definitely fits his archetype in some ways and breaks it in others. As you said, he's just blazing fast. You turn that game against Georgia Tech. He ran over the Yellow Jackets. To me, his best run pressed the hole with two lead blocks in front of him. So they kind of defined what the run was going to be.

However, the edge and the linebacker filled that lane perfectly.

So he gets right up to the line of scrimmage, explosively cuts three gaps over, bounces it,

and then cuts it perfectly up the field between five defenders and outruns three

diving ankle tackles for a 27-yard touchdown. Now, the question is this. Does he need 15 touches per game to get that one explosive? Or can he do it in seven touches, which is most likely kind of the range that he will get if he touches an NFL field? Yeah, he's not going to get 17 touches in a single ball game. So it's going to be one of those situations where you're going to give him three or four stretch runs, get him on the outside and see if you can house call it. And I think the stuff up the middle, like you said, like even like the highlights, like there are highlights where he does bounce it outside. He just bounces it outside way too often for me i think his lateral ability is solid it's not

otherworldly i do think the thing i'm signing up for with claiborne is it's straight line juice like

he will outrun uh plays all the way to the end zone and i think that you're going to have to live

with some of the downsides like he might be like negative three yards negative three yards negative yards 25 yard run uh and i think that these're going to have to live with some of the downsides. Like he might be like negative three yards, negative three yards, negative three yards, 25 yard run. And I think that these teams in the NFL, there's value in that, but you're just going to have to live with the boom bust nature of this type of profile. I did write down that there were tons of design runs between the tackles and guards. Now, he did bounce a lot. Don't get me wrong. But we do have evidence for a smaller back here of someone like that does have to

operate in that area where a lot of them don't want to.

But the issue is he's not always going to break a tackle because of his size.

And when he does, watch out.

Like that is a difference between a play working and a play not. If he can have that one defender miss or again, run through

contact on any given play, because then if he gets wide receiver blocking, second level

offensive line blocking, then he can truly be off to the races with that 1.5x speed that

pops out there. Just unfortunately, again, one of these backs that we're talking about here in the,

in the draft where if he hits up a square defender,

he's going to the ground.
