I Nick I've been listening to your podcast for quite some time now and a lot of the stories remind me of my own

These occurrences have taken place over the course of over half my lifetime, as I'm 25 now. When people ask me if I believe in ghosts, I usually tell them I grew up in a haunted house,

but the truth is it's not just one singular house that's haunted.

I think it might have been me.

To begin, it all started when I was a child, maybe third or fourth grade.

My parents gifted me a Ouigy board for Christmas, though in their defense I think they thought

it was just a silly kids game at that time.

It was my cousin that showed me how to talk to ghosts with it. I used

it all the time and I showed all my friends. Being young and dumb, we never said goodbye or

closed it properly. This is when weird things started to happen.

I started waking up in the middle of the night to see a black figure standing over me.

I was always so scared I just hid under my blankets night

after night. We constantly heard thumping and bangs throughout the night. They were

always in sets of threes. I didn't understand until I was older what this possibly meant.

My brothers and I would always have sleepovers in our finished basement. We started hearing

heavy footsteps up and down the hallway next to us, and the balls in our pool table rolling and clattering around.

My older brother even woke us up one night crying because he saw a dark figure in the hallway as he was getting up to use the bathroom.

All the while he was telling us that there were sets of three thumps on the wall and the pool balls

were still clattering in the next room.
