Today, Democrats in the House and Senate met behind closed doors for the first time since

Biden's first debate performance in order to discuss the path forward.

The consensus emerging that Democrats are riding with Biden, as party leaders shore up support

for their presumptive nominee.

NBC News reports that only a handful of House Democrats raised concerns about

Biden's age and ability to win at the meeting

the meeting which was described as a listening session and while most Democrats are backing

Biden the infighting that has spilled into public view shows that the party still

has some work to do to achieve unity.

As the Democratic candidate Joe Biden has my support.

As I've said before, I'm with Joe.

He just has to step down because he can't win and my colleagues need to recognize that.

We're riding with Biden.

Joe Biden is our nominee.

He is not leaving this race. He is in this race and I support him.

I think he should step aside.

He had a bad debate.
