day of fall. Yesterday morning, well, this morning, technically, the first summer, the first

morning of fall, Quinn comes into my office and says, it doesn't look like fall outside.

She's very excited that fall was coming and then just like, what does fall look like?

Then it's supposed to be rainy and cold. It was actually supposed to rain and it did rain

earlier or later on. And I said, it's going to rain, but it doesn't, doesn't work that way.

Like, one day, suddenly, all the leaves, you imagine, here, crap, here comes the first day

of fall. And on the first day of fall, like clockwork, right at noon, every leaf on every tree

just falls right off. I mean, it'd be convenient for people who have to rake, do it once, done,

except for when your jerk neighbor doesn't do theirs, and it blows onto your yard, but that's

not the way fall works, except in the minds of kids, apparently. God love them. Anyway, action
