Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, what to expect in the house.

Number two, Johnson backs away on motion to vacate

overhaul, and number three, the latest on Senate and FISA. Let's get into it. Late last night,

the House Rules Committee cleared the rule for the foreign aid package. Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan,

aid bills in a sidecar package, which includes a ban on TikTok

in the United States.

Four Democrats voted yes in the Rules Committee.

Very, I can't, you can't overemphasize this.

Very, very rare for that to happen.

I cannot remember that ever happening because Chip Roy,

Ralph Norman, and Tom Massey voted no. This is not surprising. We knew that they couldn't get this

thing out of rules on their own Republicans, and they would need Democratic help. That's because

Massey, Roy, and Norman are not

for this bill and wanted Johnson to press on border funding. It's actually quite interesting.

We don't have this in the newsletter this morning, but I think it's worth thinking about.

Yesterday, I caught up with Johnson a couple of times, I guess. But I talked to him about the border process, and he said,
