It is the 18th day of March, 2025, the day after St. Patrick's Day was always hangover day for me.

I'm Derek Hunter. This is the Derek Hunter podcast. It wasn't hangover day for me today.

It is dealing with cat butt issues. Had to give the cat a path.

Went to the vet, all that stuff. Thanks for the emails.

You people know a lot more information about cat butts than I ever needed to know.

So thank you for that.

I'm still not an expert and don't want to be.

But I appreciate the interest.

Hopefully she's doing better.

She got a rabies shot too, so she's

mostly been sleeping today. And then she got a bath, which now she's just pissed off at me. So we'll see.

Anyway, we've got a lot of stuff to get to a bunch of things going on in the world. Hope you're

having a great damn week. The world is on its head. Things are going backwards. Things are

going crazy. It's hilarious to watch because of all the panic, all the ridiculousness, everything

that's happening, it only tangentially involves Republicans.

And we've got that going. Look, most of the time when the feces meets the fan or it's about to hit

the fan, it is some Republican did something. Some Republican said something. God knows what happens.

They're quite capable of stepping into a huge steaming pile of trouble.

That's what Republicans have been known for.

But Democrats have become this weird, spoiled child that made it to their teen years without ever not getting their way.

And now suddenly they've heard the word no for the first time.
