My Democrats. My Democrats. They're back in full swing. They are fully back. There's calls to abolish ice. There's calls to make a difference as Trump's stormtroopers terrorize Minneapolis. And my Democrats have shown up on the scene to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and make the least bold, least courageous, adopt the least courageous position they can think of.

My Democrats are taking a sit right now. My Democrats saw that it was time to make a difference

and they said, let's make a statement. We are reaching catastrophic levels of monitoring

the situation. Catastronic levels of maybe there's going to be a strongly worded letter.

They're not quite there yet somehow. We don't have the strongly worded letter yet, but they're getting together and rumor has it. They're writing one as we speak.

And for this installment of Democratic capitulation, we talked about Alyssa Slotkin,

if not last episode than the episode before, and how we were worried that Democrats were going

to hyper focus on the idea that instead of abolishing us, instead of some some fundamental reform to how we enforce immigration law in this country, they were just going to

say shit like, more training, more funding even. And to start off this episode, I want to talk

briefly about Cory Booker. Cory Booker. One of our favorite. The walking platitude, Cory

Booker, has come out with another banger. This is a video he posted, I think, on his Instagram yesterday. It's like a talking head video. It's about 80 seconds long. And he's going to describe what his plan is and what he thinks the Democrat should do to stand up to ice and make a difference in this moment. Okay, let's see. Let's hear. He's looking real angry in this video. He must do more. The tragic death of Renee Good has brought into clear spotlight. So many of the things

the Trump administration is doing to make our communities less safe. But one of the most alarming

crises are issues of training and accountability standards for ICE officers.

The Trump administration has cut the training down from five months to about a month and a half.

They have eliminated age requirements and are hiring recruits as young as 18 years old.

They're putting people into training before their background checks are even complete.

And so when you see people cut corners, people die. I'm continuing to lead new legislation

that will bring further high professional standards and accountability to ICE officials.

We must also set minimum training standards. We must ban the hiring of anyone affiliated with hate groups.

We must hold agency leaders accountable. We must require every federal officer to wear a body-worn camera during public-facing

enforcement actions and require that footage be preserved so that the truth can't be hidden or destroy.

What Donald Trump is doing is undercutting the strength of our law enforcement.
