Today, we're speaking with Ben Miller, the co-founder and CEO of Funrise, the largest direct-to-consumer alternative asset manager in the U.S. This isn't a good segue. We speak with Ben about increasing access to the private markets, the merits of regulation, and gaining the trust of investors.

The democratization of these asset classes, I think is a good thing. I used to be more of a, I don't know, have more of a paternal view.

Now I'm kind of stop infantilizing these people and I'm beginning to think that regulation was nothing but an attempt to sequester these assets to institutions such that they wouldn't have access to more capital.
