And I took a day off yesterday, so I have no room to complain right now.

But as you can see, joining me today is the wonderful, the very talented, my friend, Mi Amiga, Maria Cardona.

Maria, it's great to be reunited with you.

I've been so excited and really looking forward to joining you at your new home on

You have knocked it out of the park.

Everyone loves your show, everyone tunes in, and you are talking about everything that is critical

and important and relevant for our

lives and livelihoods. So I love that you're doing this and I'm honored to be on with you.

Well, I mean, I love that you're with me and it kind of reminds me of old times.

You know, people might remember from my old show at my old place on the weekends.

Maria was there just about every weekend. And I think when I moved to weekdays,

I think you might have been the first day. So we had history. I was. I had that honor.

Absolutely. It was, it was a staple of my CNN contributions, if you will, to be on your show.

And as you know, we talked about this.

A lot of times it was me and our dear friend, Alice Stewart, who, as you know, and I know a lot of people watching us also know last Sunday marked a year since her passing, which I not only still cannot believe, but you and I have talked about this many times.

Her voice is dearly, dearly missed, especially with everything that's going on now, especially with the

vitriol that, you know, if anything, our politics has gotten worse and more coarse and
