Hello and welcome to the Byron York Show, the No-Chit-Chap Podcast. We like to get right into it,

and what we're going to get into today is an aspect of the Paul Pelosi story, the story about the

the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of the Speaker of the House in San Francisco, and specifically

going to talk about Republican politicians, public reaction to this, versus the way Democratic

politicians reacted to earlier examples of violence against Republican officeholders.

So first of all, you know that a lot of Democrats and their allies in the media are blaming

Republicans for this deranged man who attacked Paul Pelosi. Now there's no question that the

suspect in this case, his name is David DePap, is deranged. He's what the British would call

barking mad, give you a couple of examples, once from the Washington Post, and it wrote about a

blog post that DePap posted on October 24th, just a few days before this attack on Paul Pelosi.

Quote, DePap shared images of a wooden bird house he said he had purchased

for an invisible ferry he communicated with that had begun interfering with his life.

Quote, this is quoting DePap now, quote, he appears in a form that makes sense in my reality

because I can't see fairies. He'll do things to let me know it's him, and he often appears

as a bird. That's what DePap wrote. So he appears as a bird, so DePap bought a bird house

for this invisible ferry who was interfering with his life. Give you another example, a headline

from the San Francisco Chronicle, ex-girlfriend of suspect. That would be Gypsy Taub, the longtime
