Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks about Democrats's beginning to openly discuss mandating vaccines for the unvaccinated, proof that Democrat's are afraid of losing the California recall, and urban gun violence causing one Democrat Mayor to rethink the defund the police movement. First, Dave shares a clip of New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio publicly stating that he wants to begin forcing vaccines. He stated in an MSNBC interview that the "we tried voluntary...the voluntary phase is over". Will states or the federal government exploit the delta variant to try to increase vaccination rates by force? Meanwhile Democrats may be getting scared of losing the California recall election of Gavin Newsom. Elizabeth Warren just released a new ad that tries to smear the recall vote by trying to connect it to Trump and the Proud Boys. Is this proof that they are getting desperate? Finally, Dave discusses how DC Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that the city will be adding 170 police officers and requested new funding of $11 million. Just last year the city council voted to defund the police by $15 million. The mayor's announcement comes after the city saw a 16-year high in their homicide rate and rising gun violence. Maybe liberal crime policy isn't the best way to keep your citizens safe.
