A Virginia Democrat, one of my colleagues, got caught saying the quiet part out loud

and immediately tried to backpedal on her bill, which it is alleged, could potentially lead

to the prosecution and felony charges against parents for not satisfactorily affirming their child's gender.

We're going to actually analyze whether that's true.

We're going to look at the reporting.

We're going to look at the comments.

We're going to look at the actual bill.

And we're also going to equip you to be able to distinguish between some of the things that

are said and what can actually happen within a law because lo and behold the washington post

wasn't being entirely honest with us and i know that comes as a shock all of that and more coming

All right. You know everybody. So I'm going to jump right into this. I remember a particular

day within the Virginia General Assembly where delegate Guzman, who happens to be the patron of the

bill that we're going to be discussing today, had a different bill. And it was fairly complex. And it went through the committee process. And by the time it got to the House floor,

it required six friendly floor amendments. So let me explain what that means very quickly.

Typically, you get all the amendments for a bill. Not every bill that's submitted is perfect.

That's why we have a subcommittee process and a committee process.

And it goes through this process and we find different problems.
