Riddle be this, my friends. How is it that the guy currently in second place has the race called for him?

Right now, Donald Trump is calling California some of the worst elections in the world.

He says the elections we have in this country are worst in the third world, but at least in the third world, they'll give you the results that they've stolen on election day.

Well, California is a tried and true tale of a broken electoral system.

And the news right now, for those that are wondering what's going on, first place so far, based on the vote count, is Republican Steve Hilton.

Second place is Javier Bacera and third place is Republican Steve Hilton.

Second place is Javier Bacera and third place is Tom Steyer.

But decision desk has called the race for the guy in second place.

Now, you may be saying, well, Tim, this actually can happen.

It almost never happens, but it can.

And in an election, you know, there may be a jurisdiction where, let's just say like the state of Virginia, for instance, let's say that you've got

a Senate race in Virginia. And all of the Republican areas turn in their ballots. Well, of course,

that's going to show the Republican in first place.

All the Republican areas have already been counted. But what if they didn't yet fully count

Fairfax County, which is like 90% Democrat? You could actually have a result where they say

60% of the vote is in. The Republican is in first place, but we are calling it for the Democrat because the Republican

can't get any more votes.

Now, see, that makes sense.

The only problem here is that this is a jungle primary where there are two winners, meaning

Steve Hilton in first place is almost not.

Like, it is insane to think that Steve Hilton will not advance to the general because, again, it's called the jungle primary.

The way it works, everybody runs on the same election, Democrat, Republican, Independent or otherwise.
