0:22.2	Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what office you're running for?
0:25.6	Yes, I'm Dexter McCoy.
0:27.6	I'm the son of a teenage mother and a biological father who was incarcerated for much of my
0:33.4	childhood.
0:34.4	I was raised by grandparents who care deeply about me and invested so much in me, but
0:41.0	I'm also the proud husband to the woman who stole my heart when we were 12 years old.
0:47.1	And as of two months ago, I am the proud father to a beautiful baby girl who was everything
0:53.9	and then some.
0:55.6	I am the Democratic nominee for Fort Bend County Commissioner for precinct for a suburb outside
1:01.4	of Houston.

1:04.4	So, what inspired you to run for office and generally get involved in your community?
