The Israeli occupation is determined to chase down journalists to prevent the exposure of their crimes.

Those were the words of Palestinian journalist Hassam Shabab, who was killed in an Israeli air strike on Monday.

He worked for Al Jazeera and Dropsite News, where his pieces were translated and edited by Shrefa Gokadous, who will join us.

We'll also go to the occupied West Bank, where a mob of Israeli settlers brutally beat,

the Palestinian filmmaker Handan Balal, who just won an Oscar three weeks ago for the film No Other Land.

We'll speak to one of the film's co-directors, Baseladra, and a Jewish-American peace activists who witnessed the settler attack.

Plus, mass protests continue in Turkey over the arrest and jailing of the mayor of Istanbul,

the chief political rival of Turkey's authoritarian president, Recep Taip Erdogan.

More than 1,100 protesters have been arrested this week.

By keeping him in prison for four days, sending him to court while Turkey was going to the

polls for him and sending him to prison while Turkey was electing him.

Erdogan defied not only him, but millions, and attempted to stage a coup.

Israel's renewed, all-out killing of Palestinians in Gaza is continuing into its second week with at least 23 people dead before

dawn today, including seven children. On Monday, an Israeli strike on Bait-Lahir killed the the noted Al Jazeera journalist Hussam Shabbat.
